Easy Thanksgiving Recipes To Make 2025

I can’t believe Thanksgiving is here again. Where has the time gone?! Since Thanksgiving 2025 is officially here (for my Canadian friends, and for my American friends, your turn is coming in November), I have put together a guide for easy Thanksgiving recipes to help make your hosting a little less stressful. Because let’s be real, if hosting is not already enough work, figuring out the menu can make it even harder. In this Easy Thanksgiving Recipe To Make 2025 guide, you will find more than 20 Thanksgiving recipes, from breakfast ideas to keep everyone full until dinner to the best side dishes and desserts to end the night. All of my recipes are vegetarian-friendly, and even the turkey eaters will be happy. For me, the sides are the best part of a Thanksgiving dinner.

If you are already cracking open a can of pumpkin puree, you might as well toss in a banana and whip up a batch of my banana pumpkin muffins with chocolate chips. I also highly recommend making a stack of my pumpkin pancakes with whipped pumpkin butter since it is a fall staple in my home!

Appetizers

If you are making a big batch of cranberry sauce, you have to try my cranberry sauce cream cheese dip. It starts with a layer of cream cheese mixed with jalapeno, then gets topped with cranberry sauce and crunchy pecans, and I like to serve it with fresh bread. It is hands down my favourite holiday appetizer and the perfect dish to bring along if you are heading to a potluck or to keep your guests happily snacking until dinner.

Side Dishes

Let’s be honest, the side dishes are what make Thanksgiving worth it. My family’s favourites are my maple cranberry sauce and my homemade dinner rolls with honey butter. Trust me, you will want to double the batch because those rolls are always the first to disappear. And I must say, I love my mushroom cream sauce poured over a plate of hot mashed potatoes, because Thanksgiving is not complete without a plate of carbs.

Salads

With all the heavy side dishes, a light salad really helps cleanse the palate and adds some much-needed vegetables to the table. I love serving a salad that still feels hearty thanks to its toppings, and I highly recommend my Harvest Salad. It is made with baked sweet potatoes, goat cheese, crispy apples, and a pecan crunch on top. You can also make a grilled halloumi and peach salad and switch up the ingredients depending on what produce is in season.

Desserts

Last but definitely not least, dessert, aka my favourite part of Thanksgiving. If I am hosting, I always make a batch of my mini Oreo pumpkin cheesecakes because they are easy to serve and always a crowd favourite. The cheesecake starts with a layer of cinnamon bun Oreos, then a rich and tangy cheesecake, topped with a dollop of pumpkin spice whipped cream. I love serving desserts individually because you can lay them out on a large tray, and everyone can grab a piece as they mingle. My carrot cake cupcakes are another favourite, and you can also make a light fruit salad with seasonal fruits.
